Forum: Car Shows ]]> http://boards.idahocobraclub.org/post?id=5783424 Wed, 04 Apr 2012 17:50:11 GMT http://boards.idahocobraclub.org/post?id=5770955 The Arizona Cobra Club had a fun run last Saturday and the Phoenix folks drove to Tuscon to have a Mexican themed lunch and meet with the Tuscon members.  The dress theme was to wear your college colors.  The last thing I expected to see was another couple in Blue and Orange.  So we met Dick and Jo Sheehan from Nampa.  We of course gave most of the Maroon and Gold ASU folks a pretty hard time.  Losing the Las Vegas Bowl was countered with their Rose Bowl win, whenever that was.

21 Cobra's plus an Opel Cadet, a Corvette and a Mustang showed up, a good time was had by all.

We leave Phoenix on May 1st and head to Cascade.  We hope to meet and make a few runs with the Idaho Club this year.

Hope all of you enjoyed the holidays. At Gear 6 Performance, we've spent the better part of our holidays searching for a new location and moving our biz shop into temporary storage. After 5 yrs in the same location on Scenery Ln in Meridian, we decided not to renew our lease.. so our active search began. We officially have a new location as of January 12th. WhoooHooo!

This weekend we are moving into our new space and hope you'll get a chance to stop by and visit once we're settled in.. should be by the end of next week, Jan 19th-20th, 2012. Here's our new address, please update your contact info. BTW, our main ofc phone number will remain the same unless we are required to change it, we'll update everyone about that if necessary. The 800 toll number stays the same.

We have already done two outings with the local Cobra Club.  There abot 40 Cobras in the Tucson area and 75 in Phoenix.  There are plans for both groups to get together on New Years day and the weather man says it will be in the mid to high 70's

See everyone in the spring and if Wayne can keep a car long enough maybe we can do some activities with our cars next year.

This year, we are supporting the Wounded Warrior Project whose mission is “to foster the most successful, well adjusted generation of wounded warriors in this nation’s history.”  Due to the generous support of our fans, last year we were able to raise $14,825 for the Homes for our Troops.

I let the engine sit for a bit, then started it up - same issue.
I checked to make sure the float/fuel level is correct, and let the engine cool down completely.
i've started several times since then, and let the engine come up to temp (in the shop, not driving).

My question is, could something like this be caused by heat, or more likely stuck needle?  Or something else?

Let me know what you think and lets make this a fun way to start our Cobra activities for this year.  Let us know if there is any interest in doing this or if we need a new event to get people excited.
